Super nice and convenient place to stay while down kayak fishing. The staff was awesome and so friendly. Plenty of parking at the rooms for our truck and kayak trailer. There were water hoses available to wash off the rods and boats. We'll definitely stay again!!

Super nice place located where you usually don’t find one. The cabin was tastefully decorated, large comfy bed, modern kitchen and clean modern bathroom. The manager Penny was very helpful and friendly. If you are fishing the place has sheds for your boat and cleaning stations. If you are working there’s a nice restaurant with a bar connected to the lodge. I highly recommend this place.

Southern Breeze is a great place with excellent accommodations. We love the atmosphere and Mrs. Penny is great. We travel to this area frequently and she always goes over and above to make our stays great. They have a very nice convenient store with an excellent pizza restaurant located on the property. Anything you need or want is within walking distance. The public boat ramp is conveniently located across the street. We definitely will stay here again.

We had a Deluxe Cottage and it was super nice! Very clean! Very private too! A short drive to Grand Isle from the cottage, but the ride is scenic, so it was fun! Penny was super helpful and very polite. If you are on the fence about staying here, JUST DO IT!
